Help Shape the Future of Salt Lake County's West Bench

Salt Lake County is preparing a long-range plan for the unincorporated western areas of the county along with Oquirrh Mountains. It is critical that as citizens we give our input to help shape the future of these areas. As our rapidly growing communities expand the county understands that they need to have a plan in place that will accommodate the expected growth over the next 20-50 years.

With new neighborhoods and cities being built, we have the opportunity to push for communities where active transportation, including pedestrians and cyclists, are front and center in the planning process instead of an after thought.
