Now Accepting Applications - Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation Grant Programs

Need funding for youth outdoor recreation programming or for building or restoring outdoor recreation infrastructure? The Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation’s three grant programs are now taking applications.

1) The new Utah Children’s Outdoor Recreation and Education (UCORE) grant program will offer grant amounts of up to $10,000 to children, ages 6-18, with outdoor recreational opportunities that are nature-focused and provide hands-on learning opportunities. 2) The Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant offers matching funds for new outdoor recreation infrastructure with amounts of up to $150,000 as well as the new Regional Asset tier, which offers a grant amount of $500,000 for regionally significant projects. 3) The new Recreation Restoration Infrastructure (RRI) grant offers matching funds of up to $150,000 that can be used for the rehabilitation or restoration of summer-use recreation amenities on public lands in areas that receive high visitation.
