2020 Wasatch Bike Plan Updates

The Wasatch Bike Plan maps are filling up! In partnership with Wasatch Front Regional Council and Mountainland Association of Governments, most Wasatch Front communities now have created Active Transportation Plans—and may have started to implement them!

Some big changes from 2019:

  • Magna, Kearns, Springville, and Santaquin moved from regional plans to creating their own. When a community is funded to craft its own plan, it is often more detailed and better meet that community’s needs.

  • Centerville, Bountiful, and North Salt Lake have completed their plans.

  • Herriman and Vineyard have received funding to create plans.

  • All major cities in Salt Lake County now have an AT plan or are creating one.

  • 96% of the population in Salt Lake County now lives in a community that either has an AT plan or is working on one!

  • Wasatch Front Regional Council has created this interactive map! Click on your community, and learn more about plan specifics by clicking “More Info.”
