COURSE MAPS + DESCRIPTION
Youth/Beginner Stages
Youth and Beginners will be racing Stage 1 on Odin and Stage 2 on Lower Odin and Green Mile. The transfer up to stage 1 is going to be a hike-a-bike up the service road. Plan for the ride up to Stage 1 to take AT LEAST 60 minutes! A strong rider who can pedal a steep fire road will be able to do it faster, but if you plan on taking it easy and pushing your bike up, give yourself plenty of time to get up to Stage 1 before your start time! Stage 1 crosses the service road in several places, so watch out for other racers as you are making the climb. These crossings will be marked, but keep your eyes up, pay attention and be aware! The transfer to stage 2 is a quick ride down the service road to the top of Lower Odin.
Sport/Masters/Expert/Pro Stages
Sport+ categories will race Stage 1 on Odin and then transfer back up to the top to ride Fezzari for Stage 2. The transfer up to Stage 1 is going to be a hike-a-bike up the service road. The transfer to Stage 2 is back up the top part of the service road. You will be rewarded for the steep climb up with a fun ride all the way to the bottom for your second stage. Stage 2 ends on Green Mile which is a little pedaly, so be prepared to keep riding hard until you hit the finish line.

GENERAL Race Rules
Please be nice to anyone you encounter on the trails. The trail systems we race on are open to the public at all times. We DO NOT close trails for our races. Keep your eyes up and watch out for hikers, other cyclists, and animals (domesticated or otherwise). Good trail etiquette applies at all times - especially during races! Be nice, and say hi to anyone you encounter.
Please be kind to your fellow racers, all volunteers, and race staff. We know you want to go fast, and sometimes you have to pass or interact with other racers, but that is NEVER an excuse to be rude. Please be nice to all volunteers and race staff! THANK A TRAIL MARSHAL as you go by them! The Race Director, at their sole discretion, can/will disqualify anyone who exhibits unsportsmanlike behavior.
KNOW YOUR COURSE, and follow the flags and signs. We’ll have limited course markings, but our general rule of thumb is that the bright orange Mid Week flags will always be ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TRAIL!
Helmets are mandatory. Period.
