We did it! It was a beautiful night of racing, and we had a lot of fun with you all. That was nearly record attendance, and everyone handled our course changes in stride. Thanks for being such a wonderful community!

RACE DAY WEATHER UPDATE

(2:30 pm) Short story: WE ARE RACING TONIGHT.

Long story:  we are racing tonight AS LONG AS THERE IS NO RAIN on the trails between now & 5:30pm.  The forecast looks good, and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you tonight.  Think dry thoughts!!

Please read the following changes we will need to make to some of our logistics for the evening.

  • Every category will race on the course shown below.

  • Youth/Beginner/Short Course categories will ride ONE LAP on this course

  • All other categories will ride TWO LAPS on this course.

  • Access to the start line will be moved to utilize the main Quinn's Jct Trailhead area and the Fast Pitch Trail.

  • The finish line will be moved onto Ability Way, and all riders will be directed from the finish, back to the parking lot on the paved roads.

  • Please follow all volunteer & trail marshal instructions to the letter tonight!

We will have UPDATED MAPS at the check-in table, and Allison & I and our trusty volunteers will be on hand to explain the changes.

GENERAL Race Rules

Please be nice to anyone you encounter on the trails. The trail systems we race on are open to the public at all times.  We DO NOT close trails for our races.  Keep your eyes up and watch out for hikers, other cyclists, and animals (domesticated or otherwise).  Good trail etiquette applies at all times - especially during races!  Be nice, and say hi to anyone you encounter.

Please be kind to your fellow racers, all volunteers, and race staff. We know you want to go fast, and sometimes you have to pass or interact with other racers, but that is NEVER an excuse to be rude. Please be nice to all volunteers and race staff! THANK A TRAIL MARSHAL as you go by them! The Race Director, at their sole discretion, can/will disqualify anyone who exhibits unsportsmanlike behavior.

KNOW YOUR COURSE, and follow the flags and signs. We’ll have limited course markings, but our general rule of thumb is that the bright orange Mid Week flags will always be ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TRAIL!

Helmets are mandatory. Period.
